Seance at Hobs Lane
Drew Mulholland is the Composer in
Residence and Research fellow in the schools of Geography and Astrophysics at
the university of Glasgow. In 2007 his
album The Seance at Hobs Lane was re-released by Ghost Box
and is now regarded as seminal in the
discourse of musical psychogeography.
Expanding his research interests to
include hauntology in September 2014 he
released The Norwood Variations his first album for thirteen
years. In this talk he explains how his interpretation of both psychogeography and hauntology
influences his work.
