Elizabethan Tape Loops & The Seance at Hobs Lane

Drew Mulholland is the Composer in Residence and Research fellow in the schools of Geography and Astrophysics at the university of Glasgow. In 2007 his  album The Seance at Hobs Lane was re-released by Ghost Box and is now regarded as  seminal in the discourse of musical psychogeography.

Expanding his research interests to include hauntology in September 2014 he released The Norwood Variations his first album for thirteen years. In this talk he explains how his interpretation of both psychogeography and hauntology influences his work.
